This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand what information SuperViva gathers and how we use it. We will post any revisions to this privacy policy and encourage you to review the policy periodically.

By visiting SuperViva.com, you accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Privacy Policy Overview

  • We will never sell, give, or lend your personally identifiable information other companies for their marketing purposes without your express permission.
  • We collect information to analyze on an aggregate basis how people are using the service so we can continually improve.
  • Advertising from services such as Google appear on your life list, to help you find resources to accomplish your goals. These ads are automatically matched based on keywords with no human involvement.
  • You need to allow SuperViva to set cookies in your browser for your personalized life list to work correctly.
  • If you have any questions please refer to the SuperViva Help page or contact support@superviva.com. SuperViva is not responsible if you accidentally choose an undesirable privacy preference.

Privacy Options Related to Life Lists and Your Account

You can review and change your personal information and account settings by signing into My Account.

  • You choose whether to have your SuperViva About Me page public. When you sign up, your About Me page is publicly viewable by anyone on the Internet by default. You can change this setting within the My Account section.
  • If you select Private, your User ID will not appear in "People search" results.
  • If you select Public, your options range from providing a minimum of information to sharing your email, instant messaging addresses, and top goals on your life list.
  • You can delete goals from your life list. Private Goals are permanently deleted. Public Goals remain available for other members to view and copy. It is your responsibility to correctly mark goals you add to SuperViva as Private, if they should be private.
  • You can contact SuperViva to close your account if desired. After you close your account, you will not be able to sign in.
  • If you do not want to receive e-mail from us, you can adjust your communication preferences within My Account.

Personal Information About Users SuperViva Gathers

We collect information that members submit to the site as well as automated information we use for anonymous reporting, personalization, displaying relevant advertising, and to improve your experience at SuperViva.com. Here are the types of information we gather:

  • Information You Provide: We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. We use the information that you provide for purposes such as improving and customizing the SuperViva service, responding to your requests, and communicating with you.
  • Automated: Examples of the information we collect and analyze on an aggregated, automated (not human) basis include: the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; password; computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system, and platform; goals on your list (to recommend other related goals); web addresses you click to, through, and from our web site, including date and time; cookie number; and pages you viewed or searched for.
  • Cookies are required: The cookies we set in your browser allow us to personalize your experience. The service will not work as intended if you set your browser to reject cookies.

Details on Information Used for Third-Party Ads and Sponsors

The foundation of SuperViva’s business is to help members find online resources to help you make progress and achieve your goals. Automated information we collect is used for the following advertising purposes:

  • Advertisements that relate to goals on your life list.
  • Many advertisers use third-party companies to serve their advertisements that appear on our site. Often, these third-party advertising companies, called “ad networks” or “network advertisers”, employ cookie and other technologies to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to show you ads that are more relevant and interesting to you. We do not provide any user information to them, and we do not have access to or control cookies that may be placed by the ad networks.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Whenever we handle member information, we will always comply with applicable laws and regulations in doing so. We share member information as described below:

  • Customer Service: We limit access to personal information about you to agents who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to support your use of the service. Your password is encrypted and never visible by humans managing the system.
  • Agents: We may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include sending e-mail and analyzing data. They would have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but our agreements with such persons will not permit them to use it for other purposes.
  • Protection of SuperViva and Others: We will release account and other personal information when release is required to comply with law; enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of SuperViva.com, our users, or others. This does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from users for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Terms of Use, Notices, and Revisions

SuperViva may update this policy at any time for any reason. If there are any significant changes to how we handle personal information, we will send a notice to the primary email address specified in your account or by placing a prominent notice on our site. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Notice applies to all information that we have about you and your account. We stand behind the promises we make, however, and will endeavor to never materially change our policies and practices to make them less protective of user information collected in the past without the consent of affected users.
