The San Francisco Center for the Book has some very cool programs that promote both knowledge of traditional book arts and exploration of experimental book forms.

Classes range from binding, to pop up books to various old fashioned book making techniques. They have fun programs for kids as well and even made prints in the middle of the street using a steamroller!
