I discovered ebay in 2005, I've always known it was there, but never really noticed how big it was, or that people were actually making a living selling stuff. At the time, I wanted to be a web developer, I've always liked the idea of working at home, not having to go to the office every day! After that discovery, my dream changed, I wanted to start a business selling things on ebay. I wasn't sure what I'd sell, but I just wanted to do it!! Then, I had problems with ebay, and there accessibility (or lack there of) practices. I decided to not use ebay again, I've never bought/sold anything from them since. I still have this dream however, and there are other online auction sites out there. More recently, I found etsy, a site for selling handmade products. I decided that that was what I want to do, make handmade soaps/bath salts and sell them on etsy, and maybe ebay, then branch out to other sites.
