	Sunshine says: 01/09/2009	I had a wonderful time, went at the end of 12/08, and will go again! Save up for admissions to Tower of London (Crown Jewels), Westminster Abbey, Hampton Court Palace, Undergroiund transportation, etc. Many museums are free. Save up for everything, as it's an expensive city. But LOVELY!

	greedoe says: 01/03/2007	Before you come (I live in London) make sure you do your research. Things like: the price of the Tube into the "downtown" area just went up to £4 for cash fare, but if you pay by Oyster Card it's £1.50. So, you can pre-order an Oyster Card before you go. Also, black cabs from the airport are way too expensive. If you MUST take one, take one to a local hotel then get the hotel to call you a minicab. You'll save a small fortune depending on where you're going. London is like any other city, if you stick to touristy places you will get fleeced, but do a little digging and you CAN find the odd gem.
