FOOD ADJUSTMENTS:
Last minute fast food stops-OUT
Meatless Mondays
Cut coffee down to 2 cups a day max
Increase Tea intake
Increase water intake
Eat Bkfast

EXERCISE ADJUSTMENTS:
Do a video tape daily (yoga booty ballet)
Go to the gym 2-3 times a week Tues/Thurs/Sunday
Walk for 20-30 minutes at work daily

Amazingly an infomercial about losing weight gave me an idea that I'm going to do and I think may actually work!

1) Take a frontal and side picture of yourself wearing underwear.
2) Print it out or use a photo editing program to edit the photo to show what you want your shape to be like after you lose weight.

This will help you figure out what exercises to do and keep you motivated. Really! In just editing out my excess poundage in Photoshop I'm already excited about the day when I look like my photo!

OK now that I have said this here - I really need to follow through. Stay tuned!

I have found I gain a lot of weight if I eat any grains except rice, it doesn't help that I found I am allergic to them and they destroy your gut. I found if I have any sugar, I crave pop, so I have eliminated most sugar from my diet and try to drink only 100 percent fruit juices diluted in water. Another reason that diet pop makes you gain, is that if you look at the CO2 it has carbon under pressure, fat is made of a chain of Carbons and Hydrogens, so if you mix CO2 with H20, under the right conditions you are just adding to your fat. You can't get all that gas out of your body. CO2 is poisonous in large doses so it is better to stay off it, entirely. However naturally carbonated drinks, have less CO2, so if you have to drink it, stick to something natural. However if you are allergic to yeast or have a problem with it anyway, you better stay off of naturally carbonated drinks.

My husband talked me out of drinking diet sodas, as they contain something that prevents your body from metabolizing sugar (if you drink a glass of juice an hour after consuming diet soda, your body will store it as sugar/fat- UGH!). Unfortunately, this lead to "only drinking regular soda once a week". Now, I find I'm craving regular soda everyday. I'm fairly certain this has lead me to a 5 pound gain over the last few months. My goal this month is to ween myself off soda by substituting with LaCroix water when I get a carbonation urge and forcing myself to drink more regular water, reserving sodas for a 1-2X a month treat.

My plan: lose 5 lbs/month so 20 lbs by end of April.
-Try the "non white foods" method avoiding rice, white flour, white sugar, and other good but bad foods.
-Only eat dark chocolate, not milk or filled chocolates but don't deprive myself.
-Exercise at least 1/2 hour daily
-Only eat carrots between meals
-Don't eat when I'm not hungry and drink lots of water
-Think of this as adjusting my eating habits - NOT as a diet. Whenever I go on "diets" I eat more!

Eat healthy. Eat lot of veggies and fruits and exercise. Consider joining bootcamp. ( check out www.timeoutservices.com) Its a 5 week - 25 day program for 250$. Do it and you will see results. And no I dont work for them :)

The key is to burn more calories than you consume! Also to get toned while you're losing, I keep a balance ball in front of the tv and try to exercise instead of eating!
