01/29/2008		 Here is a compilation of thoughts on owning a dog:

If you can't own a dog in the short term, you could walk dogs at a dog rescue.

If you're going to own a dog and you live in an urban area make sure to take into account any dog walking expenses and if the dog will want to be indoors most of the day.

You can sometimes get purebred dogs from a rescue so make sure to first check with those organizations.

Anyone else have good dog tips?
