I started tracking every time someone I told about a job got it, and every time I had friends hiring people who hired referrals I made. Then I decided to put this one goal on my list - because I just love connecting people - and track all of the things I did over time as part of this goal. I especially would like to help people who are using SuperViva, of course!
Being a "connector" is not a specific skill. It's more a desire to create mutually beneficial relationships, for the good of all.
For example recently I met someone from Europe who runs a boutique hotel, who was visiting the US. I realized that he might learn a lot from, and have a lot to offer, someone who owns a chain of boutique hotels in the US.
Although I had only met the owner of the chain once, I didn't hesitate to email him and make the introduction. While whatever came out of their meeting wouldn't benefit me, I knew that by making this connection I was supporting two people whose work I admired and who were providing a great service to their customers.
Don't you love it when interesting coincidences and good things come to you by chance? Acting as a connector makes good things happen for you, in the end.
In Wayne Dyer's "The Power of Intention" he states that connectors are people who live in a state of unity with the source of all life.
