(There are lots of people here from other countries so please post any you like outside the US!) The Small Business Adminstration http://www.sba.gov/ - offers lots of tools, advice, and pointers to local resources for business planning. Especially great is SCORE, which lets you tap into retired executives from many different industries whether online or in person. http://www.sba.gov/services/counseling/score/index.html Inc Magazine http://www.inc.com/ and Entrepreneur http://www.entrepreneur.com/ often have good advice and inspirational stories. Check your local chamber of commerce if you're starting a local business to find out about networking groups and incentives.
