I’d seen their ribbon candy in Gourmet Magazine, so it was fun to take a short tour at the Hammond Candies factory in Denver where they still make candy by hand. Who knew that candy cane stripes are wrapped around the core as a jacket? It was a perfect way to observe National Candy Month.
