I’m so excited. I’ve signed up for guitar lessons and I am going to buy a guitar NOW. I have been wanting to learn guitar since 7th grade, but my mom didn’t want me to. About 12 years ago I started casually learning but not really. I finally decided I should stop saying I want to do it if I’m not going to do it. Well I decided the thought of my being able to pick up a guitar, and preferably play Brazilian style, would be such an amazing experience of happiness I had to try. I signed up for a school in Ft. Mason in San Francisco and start on Jan 16!!! 
Often when I think of a perfect experience, the vision has been to learn Brazilian guitar while staying at a beach town in Brazil. Perhaps one day I will take off for Itacare, where I took surfing lessons, teach English, learn guitar, and try to improve my surfing.
(Update: A couple months after writing this I was able to check guitar lessons off my life list on my new SuperViva life list!)
